Hotel furniture in Alanya: for city hotels, apart hotels and resorts

Alanya, east of Antalya, is a major resort known for its castle and Cleopatra Beach. Mild winters give it a long tourist season, and many foreign residents live there all year. The town has a dense mix of hotels, apart hotels and guesthouses; to the west lie the resort areas of Konaklı, Avsallar, Okurcalar and Türkler, and to the east Mahmutlar and Kargıcak.

City hotels and apartments: making the most of space

In city hotels, balconies, roof terraces and pool surrounds are usually limited. Products that take little space and stack when needed stand out:

• Chairs: Tilia's Duo and Ali, with replaceable parts, stack 10 high; Capri
• Balconies and small terraces: Table sets for two, such as Moon Ø60 & Eva-P Woven Armchair
• Pool bar: Duo Bar 75 cm, stacks 9 high

A long season: durability

Where the season is long, furniture sees more days of sun and use. That's why UV-stabilised materials and abrasion-resistant surfaces matter; Tilia models have bodies of UV-stabilised, pigmented, glass-fibre polypropylene with a matt, highly abrasion-resistant surface.

Pool and beach

• Loungers: The light, stackable Solis (stacks 8 high) or Mare without arms
• Resorts: For large properties in Konaklı, Avsallar, Okurcalar and Mahmutlar, the high-volume planning tips in our Kundu guide also apply.
