Hotel room furniture: choosing mattresses, bases, headboards and ottomans

In a hotel, guesthouse or apartment room, the mattress has the biggest effect on guest satisfaction. But a room works as a whole: the bed base, headboard and ottoman also shape both the look and the daily cleaning routine.

Mattress: built for heavy use

Hotel mattresses are used by different people every night, so durability and hygiene come first.

Bed base: storage or simplicity?

• Storage base: The Solid Storage Bed Base has gas-lift support and a lockable lid, providing storage for spare linen and blankets.

Headboard and ottoman
