Patara Viscomax Mattress view 3

Mattress terms can be confusing. In fact, mattresses differ by two basic features: the spring system in the core and the comfort layer on top.

Spring mattress

The classic system of interconnected springs. The core works as one unit and feels firm and stable.

A common choice for those who want a firm, supportive mattress and for rooms in heavy use.

Pocket spring mattress

Each spring sits in its own fabric pocket and works independently. The mattress adapts to different parts of the body separately, and in a double bed one sleeper's movement passes less to the other.

Visco mattress

Visco (memory foam) shapes itself with body heat and weight; because it spreads pressure, it feels soft and enveloping. Patara Viscomax adds 5 cm of visco and soft foam over a pocket spring core.

Changing comfort with a topper

A topper can improve comfort without replacing the mattress. The 5 cm Feather Topper gives a softer surface, while the Visco Topper gives a pressure-relieving one.

Which one to choose?

  • Sturdy, economical core: Spring mattress
  • Double beds, zoned support: Pocket spring mattress
  • Soft, enveloping feel: Mattress with a visco layer

Firmness is a personal preference, so we recommend trying the product where possible. Our showroom is in Muratpaşa; samples depend on the product. See all models in our beds category.
